Black Friday

2:15 AM  Crazy Shoppers at Kohl's

This year I went on my first "get up crazy early stand in line for hours" black friday shopping trip.  I always thought that it was pretty crazy that people did that, but I had such a fun time I will be going again next year for sure! 

The line went all the way to the end of the building and wrapped around!!  So glad we were one of the first in line!!

This jazz band from a local HS came out and played in front of Kohl's at 3 AM!  They really helped pass the time!

Zoo Lights

Here are a couple pictures from our zoo lights trip.  We went on a members only night (the nights before Thanksgiving)  hoping that it wouldn't be as crowded.  I think if we had gone on Monday or Tuesday it might have been true, but we went on Wednesday!  It was still pretty crowded.  That didn't stop us from having a great time together!  The kids really enjoyed the free carousel rides.  We even sat and watched it go around as we shared some hot chocolate.  Josiah especially loved Jenga, the talking giraffe.  Fun memories... guess that is why the zoo is one of our favorite places!!  Looking forward to going on Thursday morning!
